Landlord Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the thepropdealer.com platform as a Landlord or Property Lister. By creating an account or listing a property, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You may use our platform only if:

• You are at least 18 years old.

• You are the owner or an authorized agent of the property being listed.

• You have the legal right to lease, rent, or sell the property.

2. Account Registration

• You must register for an account to list a property or receive leads.

• You are responsible for all submitted documents.

• All information provided must be accurate and up to date.

3. Subscription Plans

We offer three subscription options with varying levels of access and features:

4. Service Charges & Billing

• Free Plan: No upfront charge.

• Basic Plan: ₹2,000 + 18% GST = ₹2,360 (one-time).

• Pro Plan: ₹3,500 + 18% GST = ₹4,130 (one-time).

• Payments must be made before a listing goes live or features are activated.

• All payments are non-refundable, except where legally required.

5. Lead Conversion Fee (Optional)

If using a lead-based commission model, such as under the Free Plan:

• 10% of the first month’s rent is charged when a tenant acquired through our platform signs a lease.

• Applicable only for Free Plan or where otherwise agreed.

• You must report successful conversions honestly. Non-compliance may result in suspension or account termination.

6. Use of the Platform

As a landlord, you agree to:

• List only properties that you legally own or manage.

• Avoid duplicate, misleading, or false listings.

• Treat all prospective tenants fairly and without discrimination.

• Use contact information of leads solely for rental-related communication.

7. Listing Content & Ownership

• You retain ownership of your listing content.

• By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote it across our platform and marketing channels.

• We reserve the right to edit, moderate, or remove content that violates laws or these Terms.

8. Add-Ons & Optional Services

• Optional services (e.g., tenant screening, insurance, documentation) may be offered at additional cost.

• Pricing and availability of add-ons are subject to change and will be visible at the point of purchase.

9. Platform Rights

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or suspend the Platform or its features at any time.

• Remove any listing found to be fraudulent, inappropriate, or in violation of these Terms.

• Suspend or terminate accounts for misuse or non-compliance.

10. Limitation of Liability

• We are a listing and lead-generation platform. We are not involved in the rental agreements or property management.

• We do not guarantee lease conversions or accuracy of user-provided information.

• We are not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from transactions between landlords and tenants.

11. Privacy & Data Use

• Use of our platform is governed by our [Privacy Policy].

• You agree to handle any tenant or user data in accordance with data protection laws.

• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or your dashboard. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time.

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of INDIA/ASSAM. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in BONGAIGAON/Jurisdiction.
